Automation QA Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer to join United Tech to speed up the testing process and reduce the time it takes to get product to production.

About the product: It is a multi-functional web platform for worldwide communication that allows users to exchange messages, gifts and content. The primary user base is in Tier-1 countries. The product features high loading capacity, intuitive UX/UI, and the use of AI and ML for user scoring, matching and face recognition. Our goal is to reach the top 5 in the niche within 3 years and establish a presence in the LatAm and Asian markets.

In this role, you will

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests by creating scripts
• Maintain Test Automation Frameworks
• Integrate with Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) Pipelines
• Identify and report defects to the bug tracking system
• Collaborate with Development and Quality Assurance teams
• Monitor test execution and results

It’s all about you

• 3+ years of experience in Auto Testing
• Proficient in Java for writing automated tests and building test frameworks
• Skilled with Selenium WebDriver and Selenide for test automation
• Experienced in using JUnit and TestNG for organizing and executing automated test cases
• Proficient with Git for version control
• Competent in API testing using RestAssured and Postman
• Experienced in managing databases, particularly MySQL
• Capable of scripting in Bash and PowerShell for automating tasks and setting up test environments
• Familiar with CI/CD tools and containerization using GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Selenoid
• Knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to understand frontend behaviors and troubleshoot during testing
• Skilled with Maven for managing project dependencies and automating build processes
• Strong understanding of design patterns for developing scalable and maintainable automation frameworks
• Deep understanding of software testing principles, methodologies (including Agile), and concepts
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Adaptability, flexibility, and strong communication skills
• Ability to set up and redesign processes

• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment and understanding of iterations
