YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

We're on the lookout for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer with a proven track record in systems administration and a strong passion for automation. Your role will be pivotal in automating our infrastructure streamlining our operations and ensuring that our services run like a well-oiled machine. You'll be the backbone of our SRE team wielding tools like Ansible and Terraform to craft robust repeatable and resilient systems.

These will be your key responsibilities:

• Develop scale and manage our infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.

• Champion automation across the organization eliminating manual operations and toil wherever possible.

• Design and implement proactive monitoring and alerting strategies to anticipate and address issues before they impact our customers.

• Lead incident response efforts and contribute to post-mortem analysis and process refinement to prevent future outages.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for service rollout and management.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior SRE team members in best practices in systems administration and automation.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

• 5+ years of experience as a systems administrator/systems engineer with a strong focus on SRE practices.

• Deep expertise in automation with Ansible and infrastructure management with Terraform.

• Solid understanding of AWS cloud services and Linux operating systems

• Experience with scripting languages (such as Python Bash etc.) for automation.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).

• Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.

• Excellent communication skills and a teamwork-oriented attitude.
