About the Role

We are seeking an Automation Support Engineer to join our Application Support team and support Beyond Finance’s ambitious growth. You will provide strategic, innovative, and cost-effective support solutions to increase efficiency, reliability, and integration of our services and operations. You will work in a semi-autonomous and fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

The Automation Support Engineer will help

Design, implement, and maintain automated solutions and tools to support various IT, Corporate and Product operations.
Analyze existing IT processes and workflows, identify areas for improvement, and develop automation strategies to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance scalability.
Support and maintain a portfolio of applications.
Manage various application integration projects.
Automate resolution of common tasks and problems.
Document issues, provide user training for key applications and create self-service options for Helpdesk users.
Research industry trends, best practices, and evaluate their applicability to improve existing automation frameworks and processes.
Create, manage and support complex automation workflows.
Modernize and mature use of key corporate applications such as Company’s helpdesk.
Configure alerting mechanisms to proactively detect and resolve data issues via SQL.

What We Look For

Strong expertise with API (build, integration and support).
Experience with frontline support of users and third-party applications.
Familiarity with programming languages (Python, Ruby, JavaScript/Node.js)
Experience with a major platform for ticketing and support (FreshService/FreshDesk).
Strong expertise with API & Automation platforms such as Postman and Tray.io.
Experience in developing integration and regression tests.
High proficiency in SQL.
