Automation Tester

Roles and Responsibilities • Minimum 6-8 years working experience building and execution automation tests using Selenium with Java • Minimum 3 -5 years working experience in API automation (Rest Assured) using BDD Cucumber • To generate and modify test cases/scripts using Web Driver methods, element locators, TestNG annotations • Involvement in Selenium Environment Set up, Creating, Organizing and Managing Test Automation resources • Design and Develop the Automated solution to ensure integrity and quality of end to end functioning of all functions • Effective participation in all Scrum Meetings • To ensure all the test scripts are automated in - sprint Agile pods. • All the existing test cases are automated and integrated with CI pipeline • Partner with test lead and SME(s) to thoroughly understand Business process to assess possible Business scenarios to document and automate test cases

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent related work experience. • 5 years of development and/or test automation experience. Experience in network programming and/or developing/designing large software systems. • Experience in an Agile environment. • Skilled in Selenium and Java / Javascript. • Extensive experience translating business requirements into effective test cases, test planning, test automation and test execution. • Technical writing, including test cases, plans & specifications, definition of done, acceptance criteria/thresholds, and test results. • Building robust, scalable, and high quality test automation solutions for functional, regression and performance testing. • Developing code for quality automation and ensuring extensive unit test coverage of the code. • Building, customizing, deploying, and managing the environment/test automation frameworks.

Hands on experience with the following -

- Selenium, Java, BDD, Cucumber

- Test script/test library creation

- Soap UI or Ready API Automation
