The candidate must possess excellent problem solving and communication skills. He or she must have a "can-do" attitude, be self-directed in a fast-paced engineering environment, as well as working as part of a team. In addition, the individual must be flexible, dependable, and have excellent time management skills.

Responsiblities:

• Very hands on Leader.
• Measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
• Lead US automation team and work with offshore teams to add continuous improvements to our comprehensive automation framework, private automation cloud, automation portal, and other automation tools.
• Oversee and collaborate with all automation resources inside the company to continuously adding automation coverage to our product lines.
• Plan Global automation roadmap and manage the execution.
• Has strong experience with cloud technologies, public cloud, and distributed systems.
• Manage daily activities of US automation team that follow agile development process.
• Work closely with DEV, QA, PM, and Support to deliver high quality releases.
• Mentor a high performing team and hire exceptional talent.
• Be a critical thinker who is passionate about developing highly innovative breakthrough technologies and has the resilience to make innovation happen.
• Results oriented with a strong focus on quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in EE/CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in managing technical teams and projects.
• 7+ years of experience managing automation team in networking field.
• Experience with Unix/Linux systems with scripting experience in Python, Perl, and Ruby.
• Solid understanding of Ethernet and TCP/IP protocols.
• Experience with SQL and non-SQL database.
• Experience in open source automation tools: Selenium, Postman, JMeter, unittest/pytest, etc.
• Experience in commercial test equipment: KeySight, Spirent, CDRouter, etc.
• Experience in public and private clouds: AWS, Azure, OpenStack, KVM, HyperV, VMWare.
• Deep understanding in agile methodology and network security appliances testing: firewall, IPS, IDS, vulnerability, etc.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to represent and advocate complex technical concepts externally.
• Broad knowledge and hands-on technical experience in test methodologies and automation development.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, and keen attention to detail.
