Automotive Sales Associate

Job Overview Walker’s Renton Subaru has an immediate need for internet and floor salespeople. The automotive sales industry is going through massive changes with an ever-increasing percentage of customers preferring to begin the shopping/buying process online rather than traditional methods. We need motivated, organized, customer service-oriented salespeople. Each salesperson is provided daily leads of customers actively looking to buy a car. We believe that good long-term salespeople are an investment for the future success of the company. This attitude is reflected with our pay plan (salary + commission + volume bonuses) which is one of the best in the business! We always look within the company first when a higher-level position becomes available with several of our department managers having started out in entry level positions. Duties • Utilize various online platforms to promote and sell products • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and chat to address inquiries and provide product information • Manage inventory control and update online listings accordingly • Negotiate prices and terms of sales agreements with customers • Implement sales management strategies to meet or exceed sales targets • Utilize sales software to track leads, conversions, and customer interactions • Conduct outbound sales calls to generate leads and drive sales growth Requirements • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on phone etiquette • Experience in inventory control within an online sales environment • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to address customer needs effectively • Ability to negotiate effectively to close sales deals • Proficiency in using sales software to manage leads and track performance • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently • Willingness to learn!
