THE POSITION:

EOS is looking for an experienced technical AV Engineer specializing in AV design, break-fix and event support of a global Multimedia Audio Visual environment. Your role will be pivotal as a crucial member of a high-performing team dedicated to managing and delivering day-to-day AV support requirements for our client’s global AV operation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record delivering effective and efficient customer results, designing, and using key metrics to enable decision making that will further company growth and client satisfaction.  You'll also be in the field commissioning the rooms. Ensuring functionality of spaces and some break fix.

Event Support

  • Site identification and setup
  • Equipment testing and sign off
  • Event kick-off
  • Training where required
  • Management of the event
  • Event Teardown
  • Any associated follow up items that might be required

Break/Fix Activities

  • Work closely with Operations team responsible for providing first and second level IT support
  • Ticket management for incoming or ongoing incidents
  • Troubleshooting AV/VC equipment in all relevant locations
  • Escalate in accordance with Netflix procedures
  • Assist with any root cause analysis procedures
  • Participate in problem management activities
  • Support approved changes, as required
  • Room Design for standard and unique spaces

Design Support

  • EOS Engineer will support the customers teams by assisting with design related input. This input could be in the form of information around the operation of the existing environment, product recommendations, testing, or site-specific needs
  • Meet with architects and interior designers to ensure AV Design and Technology guidelines are met

Commissioning

  • Execute on site commissioning tasks based on Netflix approved standards and processes
  • Assist in the deployment of AV systems in the commissioning phase of project completion
  • Validate system setup, configuration, and business readiness of AV systems
  • Maintain proper documentation on AV systems and rooms

 WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Demonstrates knowledge of a wide range of AV & Broadcast products in Control Systems, DSPs, Video Routing, Networking, Zoom & other UC platforms.
  • Possesses In-depth knowledge of the latest Multimedia AV & Broadcast technologies with awareness of industry trends and roadmaps.
  • Hands on experience of audio & video formats and protocols, including compressed and uncompressed formats and transports, ie HDMI, SDI, IPMX, NDI, ST-2110, NVX, AES67, Dante, etc.
  • Understands and demonstrates practical skills of requirements for media on the network, AVoIP including VLAN’s, VXLAN’s, Multicast, QOS, PTP, clocking, latency, SDN, bandwidth management, etc.
  • Implements, configures, and evaluates a wide array of AV products, document findings, and develop best practices and operating procedures.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of video production & audio technologies used for live event systems and studios.
  • Designs and integrates mixed Broadcast and Pro AV environments.
  • Convergence, with an emphasis on media networks for live audio, video, data, and control
  • Strong experience with system architecture design, large scale deployments, and project management
  • CTS or CTS-D, and other AV industry certifications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global team environment.
  • Manage the customers’ expectations to deliver an exceptional customer experience in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the customer and their decision makers and other team members.

Pay Range

$120,000$138,000 USD
