Reporting to the Director of Creative Technology, the AV Operations Manager supports DI's cross-disciplinary teams in delivering best-in-class AV technology experiences. This role manages the Tech Service team, the AV Engineering & Tech Install team, and is responsible for hardware procurement and inventory management. This role is also responsible for analyzing the performance of AV systems for client projects and implementing solutions to improve current and future projects, both financially, and from a user experience perspective. In addition, the AV Operations Manager will be responsible for leading the standardization and documentation of processes and best practices for Tech service, AV engineering and install, and hardware procurement.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:
- Manages the Tech Service and Hardware Procurement teams
- In partnership with the AV Engineering and Install Supervisor, the AV Operations Manager will oversee and assist with the AV Engineering and Install team
- Standardizes and documents best practices for AV Engineering, hardware procurement, installation, and tech service
- Establishes KPI goals for each team and oversees their progress
- Leads the resourcing for the Tech Service and AV teams to fulfill the tech installation and service needs of clients
- Works closely with the Creative, Technology, Engineering and Project Management teams to ensure best practices are followed for system design, installation, and service
- Sources and oversees any subcontract resources needed to complete a project
- Works closely with the Director of Creative Technology to manage the AV, service and tech hardware budget for the team.
- Manages tech hardware inventory and associated budget in anticipation of client needs involving short timelines or hardware with long lead times
- Works closely with Client Success team to maintain visibility to client touch points via Tech service needs
- Establishes and implements best practices for quality assurance, and has accountability for overall quality control of the team
- Responds to escalated issues that may impede project delivery and proposes solutions to support the Tech Service and AV Installation leaders as needed to achieve project goals
- Oversees and coordinates efforts between projects and leads with strong attention to strategy, implementation, and delegation
- Ensure profitability goals for team are being met by managing capacity, including labor hours and expenses
- Manages team and project performance accountability and month end data/forecasting accuracy and accountability

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- 10+ Years of residential and commercial A/V integration required
- 5+ years of leading a team and people management experience required

This is a salary (exempt) position.
