Wachter is accepting applications for an AV Staging and Configuration Specialist to join the WAVE team in our Lowell, AR office. This in-office position is responsible for gathering critical information for AV hardware, rack fabrication, and system testing of AV systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• College education or degree preferred.

• Demonstrates proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.

• CTS recommended.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Displays understanding of basic AV systems.

• Displays knowledge of AVIXA rack-building standards.

• Gathers critical information from AV hardware:

o Serial numbers

o MAC addresses

o Firmware versions

o Software versions

o Username and password

o IP addresses

• Tests and configures AV equipment:

o Updates firmware

o Mocks up system in lab per engineer provided drawings

• Builds AV Equipment racks per AVIXA standards.

• Maintains AV warehouse inventory spreadsheet.

• Maintains AV rack fabrication area.

• Works with AV programmers to push system configurations and programming to AV systems.

• Assists AV engineers with testing AV systems in shop.

• Packages, labels, and ships AV systems once fully tested.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.

• Ability to use basic hand tools.

• Ability to work overtime as requested by AV Engineering Manager.
