Job Description
Q2 Software is looking for an experienced A/V Support Technician who will be responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, support, and maintenance of in-house A/V systems. This individual is responsible for supporting conference room presentation equipment including, but not limited to, microphones, speakers, screens, projectors, monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards, and related electronic equipment for meetings, training presentations, and client conferences.Β This role will troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user training and assistance where required. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to Q2βs high standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- End user support for audio/video hardware and software systems
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT ticketing system
- Daily health checks of conference room A/V equipment
- Daily administration and support of Q2βs company provided mobile phone plan
- Daily support of Zoom phone and conferencing platform
- Participate in project management and coordination of large A/V installation projects
- Prepare for quarterly company presentations from multiple remote locations
- Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the presentation equipment
- Document internal procedures
- Assist with user training
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
- Report issues for escalation
- Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are followed
- Manage A/V vendor relationships
- Provide desktop support to internal end-users
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- 5+ years A/V technical support
- 1+ years of A/V project management
- A/V hardware and software platforms including Zoom, Zoom Phone, Microsoft Teams, Poly, Crestron, Shure, DSP systems, and others.
- Enterprise level MDM experience (JAMF, InTune, Zoom Device Management)
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with focus on planning, execution, and follow up.
- 2+ years working on Mac Minis/iPads
