Aviation Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Part-Time & Remote)

Aviation Software Quality Assurance Engineer - PART-TIME REMOTE 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain the software certification plans and artifacts
• Ensure process compliance of Flight Control Software and Display Software development per DO-178, DO-331, and DO-330
• Support document review and planning processes
• Work with the DER and systems group towards successful completion of SOI audits
• Establish company wide software quality processes and infrastructure
• Advocate and train the Skyryse teams to follow and contribute to the quality processes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Develop and maintain the software certification plans and artifacts
• Ensure process compliance of Flight Control Software and Display Software development per DO-178, DO-331, and DO-330

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in electrical, computer science, mechanical  or aerospace engineering discipline
• Experience in design, develop, verify and certify display software per DO-178C
• Experience with certification of software, systems and subsystems working with DER/FAA
• Experience in developing, writing, and reviewing certification documentation such as software certification plans, compliance reports, and etc.
