Job Description:

IERUS Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (8-15 years) to design embedded systems hardware, including FPGA, and SoC based systems. Our applications include: space-based systems, radar, EOIR, RF and IR signatures, RF testing, electronics and systems integration, antennas, image processing, GPU acceleration, RF signal processing and tracking algorithms, communications systems, and more. The electrical engineer is responsible for:

• Component selection, and evaluation/test;
• Designing schematics to meet functional, environmental and system requirements;
• Printed circuit board layout for high-speed digital, analog, power, and RF applications;
• System level analysis, modeling and simulation analysis/development and development, testing and analysis of various electrical systems.

Required Qualifications:

• B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field, or equivalent experience;
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U. S. Citizenship is required;
• High-speed Digital Design and PCB layout experience;
• FPGA VHDL design, debug, integration, and commercial IP Core integration experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance;
• RTOS (such as VxWorks, or real-time Linux);
• Embedded software experience with C/C++;
• Experience with video formats and compression;
• Experience with telemetry design and telemetry systems;
• Experience with design for space-environment.
