Role Summary/Purpose:

T he role of AVP, Account Sales M a n ag er - Powersports & Trailer o n the OUTDOOR T e a m (Powersports, Lawn & Garden, Sporting Goods) is critical t o the su c cess o f this fast-growing LIFESTYLE Platform b usi n ess . The key responsibilities of the role are to partner directly with the VP, Relationship Manager, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of both the SYF Industry Programs and our Partnered Programs promotional finance strategy to drive sales & profitable growth for Synchrony, our partners, and its fragmented merchant channel. The ASM will be tasked to develop sales relationships with merchants across the OUTDOOR industries that are in an assigned Book of Business as well as support day-to-day responsibilities for the our client relationships. This role will have exposure to both PLCC and INSTALLMENT product offerings.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work dir e ct l y w i th the SYF Outdoors leadership team , dealers, and the client to dr i ve profitable sales and financial results.
  • Support our clients in defining mo n t hly / a nnu a l s a l es and business g o a l s, partner on strategy sessions, i m plem e nt fi na nce pr o mot i on s t rat e gies, interact w i t h i nd iv id u a l dealers , produce and present client reporting, as w ell as da y -to- da y c l ie nt su p p o rt.
  • Ma na ge SYF & cl i e n t i n i tiati v es, pr o ject pl a nning, ex e cution, and o n go i n g c l ient comm u n ic ation that are f oc use d on a cquisition, activ a ti o n, usage, a n d r et e n t i o n .
  • Own a dealer Book of Business and execute metric-driven disciplined account planning/management with application & sales goals, leveraging Sales Force to drive effective in-person, virtual, and phone visits and sales engagements.
  • Attend & support industry/client trade shows and meetings as needed.
  • Identify and share best practices with dealers & clients, as well as with peers
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales Support, 3rd party vendors, Operations, Marketing, Underwriting, Risk, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure sales initiatives are executed, day-to-day escalated items are resolved, and support dealer requests.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preference towards Business, Marketing or Finance OR 5+ years of related work experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in client-facing experience in Sales, Credit, Operations or Marketing.
  • Proven track record of accountability and solid follow-up skills.
  • Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills as well as reporting capabilities.
  • Up to 33% travel required

Grade/Level: 10

The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • N ew hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
