AVP, Business Management & Reporting, Nuveen CAO

The Strategy and Management team operates under the Chief Administrative Officer and is responsible for internal consulting engagements and business management activities. The team provides counsel to senior leadership of Nuveen and manages cross-functional initiatives. Responsibilities of the team include providing thought leadership for highest level strategic decisions, translating strategy into actionable plans, partnering with business units to manage large-scale programs, developing hypotheses and conducting analyses, synthesizing complex information, and communicating recommendations.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Work closely with stakeholders across functions - such as Finance, Sales, Marketing, Investments, Operations and Technology - to deliver strategic initiatives.
• Prepare executive-level presentations for the Nuveen and TIAA leaders and Board members.
• Turn ideas into business cases and help executives prioritize.
• Develop understandings of markets, business trends, and operations and apply knowledge to initiatives across Nuveen to inform key decisions.
• Provide "big picture" thinking, making connections across business units and supporting initiatives across a global team.
• Collaborate with Finance colleagues (including Nuveen's Head of FP&A) to synthesize financial information in support of budgeting and planning initiatives.

Base Pay Range: $108,800/yr. - $155,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
