Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT departments and consultants to ensure smooth ERP, Data Warehouse, and Middleware integrations implementations and maintenance. 

  • Assist in implementation and maintenance of financial applications such as Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM systems like OneStream/Hyperion, Coupa, Concur, and reconciliation tools like Trintech/Duco/IVP. 

  • Design and develop data modeling, data warehouse and reports for the end users and drive the administration of an enterprise-wide reporting/business intelligence/analytics 

  • Lead software development efforts in one or more languages/frameworks such as SQL, Python, , Scala, .NET (plus). 

  • Prepare all necessary documentation, document technical solutions and other related deliverables using tools like JIRA and Confluence 

  • Assist end users in application/system issues 

  • Available 50% during US PST working hours and 50% during Ares India working hours to be able to interface with US resources and autonomously guide the Ares India CFS team in solutioning 

  • Lead and manage Ares India CFS team members and being responsible and taking ownership of the team’s work product and quality in context of broader initiatives 

  • Liaison to the application architecture, business analysts and PMO teams to ensure guidelines and process across all technology initiatives are aligned properly 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Education:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computing, Finance, Information Systems or related fields 

Experience Required:  

  • 10-12 years of relevant financial domain, experience in applications and hands on development and delivery experience implementation in Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM applications and Data Lake/Data Warehouse solutions. Minimum 3 years in team lead/manager capacity.  

  • Strong knowledge and experience in financial accounting systems such as Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM systems like OneStream/Hyperion, Coupa, Concur, reconciliation tools like Trintech/Duco/IVP 

  • Expertise and hands on software development required in one or more languages/frameworks such as advanced SQL (Required), Python, Scala, .NET (plus) 

  • Experience with enterprise applications integrations required 

  • Strong data modeling skills and experience with diverse data structures 

  • Experience with Azure and Cloud technologies (Azure Data actory, Azure Synapse and Azure data bricks) is a big plus. 

  • Good to have experience in Microsoft SQL Server - Integration Services, Analysis Server, Reporting Services and Report Builders such as Power BI 

  • Strong experience and versatility in application architecture, design and implementation across a variety of platforms 

  • Knowledge/Experience in RPA (Robotic Process Automation)/Power Apps is a plus 

  • Experience managing and delivering projects with Agile and traditional frameworks
