AVP DevOps

Utilize software development (Dev) and information technology operations (Ops) principles and advanced cloud capabilities to build solutions across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) stack, with a primary focus on the internet-facing FinTech website.  Responsible for all phases of release for software and infrastructure code to production, including availability, performance, monitoring, incident response, and resolution for platforms and services. Design and develop high-quality automation workflows in the cloud platform, and scale systems sustainability by integrating resilience and high availability at all levels.  Develop software and tools to secure and automate cloud infrastructure building and software delivery capabilities, including use of Infrastructure As Code (IaC), and design and operate Kubernetes environment for orchestration and management of containerized applications. Design and develop build pipelines to deploy Server-less functions (AWS Lambdas) using GitLab and Server-less Framework, and partner with software development teams to improve/scale services by automating rigorous testing and release management procedures. 

 Salary $140,000 - $160,000/year and this is an in-office non-remote role.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or five years of experience software development. Experience must include five years each of the following: AWS solutions architecture; Docker and Kubernetes; Gitlab and Python; and JSON and SQL. Experience may be gained concurrently.
