Job Description

The AVP of Digital Marketing Management at DIRECTV will be responsible for driving more organic traffic to drive acquisition and experience outcomes. This position requires a strategic leader able to excel in a multi-functional position and devise an integrated organic traffic strategy for both web visits and calls with key performance indicators (KPI), programs and roadmaps for all deliverables. Additional responsibilities for this critical role include:
  • Build a team of high quality, talented professionals in the areas of SEO, organic social, content marketing and program management, and analytics.
  • Identify needed investments (inclusive of redesigning existing, as well as building new) to maximize ROI of organic activities.
  • Lead digital engagement of prospects and customers across the full cycle of all non-paid promotional tactics.
  • Drive organic site traffic and manage customer call-in engagements across the full customer lifecycle (acquisition>service>support) to achieve online and in-center traffic/volume goals.
  • Execute on-site and off-site SEO strategy in partnership with various stakeholders across IT, Corp Communications/PR, and external agencies.
  • Lead full-cycle organic social activities and engagement across DIRECTV channels.
  • Align existing programs across organic social, content marketing, PR, and SEO.
  • Collaborate with internal leaders to develop instruments for analytics and personalization.
  • Partner with key professionals across Engineering, IT, Product, Brand and PR.

What else are we looking for?
  • 10+ years Marketing Experience.
  • Demonstrated history of high achievement thru education, leadership position(s) and other significant accomplishments.
  • Self-directed, results-oriented individual who can independently handle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.

  • Strong Communicator - articulate with an ability to communicate in a direct and clear manner; history of communication with C-level executives using oral, written, and presentation formats is preferred.

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States. #LI-Remote
The US base salary range for this AVP, Digital Marketing Management full-time position is $170,335 - $309,235 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
