A typical week might include the following:

• Shape, implement, and facilitate the operation of credit union risk management process and enhancement of risk management infrastructure.
• Guide the collaboration with stakeholders to establish the control environment to measure and monitor risk. Drive compliance with risk management policies and limits, collect and assesses risk data, identify risk ownership gaps, and implement initiatives to close gaps in risk management.
• Develop and communicate risk management policies, training, and reporting to the highest levels of Credit Union management. Facilitate sharing of effective risk management standard methodologies.
• Lead the Audit and Enterprise Risk Management teams and oversee the Credit Union's audit program. Work closely with the Credit Union's regulators and the internal team that facilitates the regulatory examination process.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.

This role might be right for you if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
• 10 years of senior level experience leading Risk Assessment or Risk Management teams in financial services.
• Knowledge of financial service industry auditing methods and procedures.

Bonus Points if you have:

• MBA or Master's Degree.
• CRCMP - Certified Risk and Compliance Professional
• Professional Risk Manager (PRM)
• Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
• Experience working for a state or federal financial institution regulatory body (i.e. National Credit Union Administration; Arizona Department of Financial Institutions)
