Please note: This position allows remote work from home but will require travel to our Voya business office as business requires. Candidates must be located within a 50-mile radius from your assigned office. (CT, MN, AZ, MA or GA)

What can you expect?

This role is an AVP, HR business partner role, working with Voya's Growth, certain Finance and Sales business leaders translating business needs into HR solutions and strategies. In partnership with HR and CoEs, this role will be responsible for leading management and execution of all aspects of HR within the business including talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, employee engagement as well as diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. This role will provide key leadership in culture, ESG and Purpose driven people initiatives.

We will count on you to:
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partners and our CoE partners to design and implement HR solutions, programs and policies that achieve short and long term business objectives including people strategy design and delivery
  • Manage the employee experience in order to attract, retain, develop and advance our employees' careers including performance management, employee relations, talent management, diversity equity and inclusion initiatives, and compensation management.
  • Manage the year-end compensation process in partnership with the Compensation Partners and the business
  • Oversee and provide expertise in complex employee relations issues for the business in partnership with our Employee Relations and Legal
  • Participate in the development of enterprise wide projects, including implications to the business and our employees
  • Participate in M&A, Joint Ventures, and outsourcing.
  • Other people initiatives as required.


What you need to have:
  • More than 10 years of HR experience, preferably in a professional services or financial services environment
  • Undergraduate degree
