Job Overview:

The Assistant Vice President (AVP), Institution Client Success (ICS) will work directly with some of LPL’s largest institution clients and will focus on ensuring firm connectivity to support broad operational efficiency & client satisfaction in partnering with the institution. This will be accomplished through creating a solid foundation for growth with the institution, using effective consulting, education on operational/process best practices and tactics with an emphasis on highlighting the value, benefits, and features of LPL’s platform with the program. 

By developing a thorough understanding of the institution’s approach to doing business and knowledge of LPL’s strategic initiatives, the AVP will be responsible for crafting and aligning effective solutions to assist the client in meeting their business goals and objectives. Additionally, the AVP, ICS will partner with the institution's VP Success Managers, as the primary points of contact between their institution and LPL Financial- focused on the program's growth. This role will combine relationship management, consulting, project management, and communication skill to fully understand and achieve business growth, retention, and client satisfaction.

The AVP Relationship Manager must work cross functionally within LPL, be process oriented and capable of thinking critically, leveraging data to help the client and LPL make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Become immersed in the business of the clients, gaining thorough understating of how they function

  • Act as business liaison between LPL and the institutions to drive impactful engagements, leading to adoption of LPL capabilities

  • Communicate proactively with the institution, educating on policy, procedure, and ensuring an understanding of changes may enhance and impact their business

  • Represent the voice of the client in cross organizational meetings within the firm, including senior leaders, raising any concerns and collaborate in solving

  • Create client feedback loops through recurring meetings with the programs

  • Identify trends within the business and communicate out findings; partnering internally and externally to solution for items as needed

  • Document all opportunities, activities and meetings into Salesforce contact management system used to measure progress towards personal and team engagement goals

  • Represent LPL IS Relationship Management in several venues and forums throughout the year

  • Stay up informed on general financial services industry knowledge and happenings, particularly in the institution space

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • 4+ years of previous experience in financial services preferably with both sales and service responsibilities

Preferences:

  • Series 7, 6 /63 (66) preferred, additional licenses or designations are a plus

  • Experience with Contact Management Systems, specifically Salesforce.com and standard MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Experience with LPL Financial proprietary systems and client facing technology highly desired.

  • Experience within a financial institution desired.

  • Experience and understanding of the LPL Financial organization.

Pay Range:

$100,900.00 - $168,100.00


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
