Summary of Role/Position

The AVP of Growth Marketing is responsible for leading brand strategy, brand development, and the integrated marketing plan for CarParts.com that includes performance marketing, digital, television, and print with the assistance of the E-commerce team, creative team, analytics team, and outside agencies to drive traffic to our e-commerce & commercial business. Additionally, the AVP will oversee strategic brand storytelling and develop/cultivate programs and relations with key influencers to elevate the brand.

You Will

  • Develop & execute compelling, on-brand marketing campaigns and plans.
  • Develop and execute activation strategies, including events and sponsorships.
  • Build and maintain ambassador and influencer relationships and content plans.
  • Establish and drive new opportunity spaces for the brand.
  • Partner with cross-functional marketing teams to develop integrated omni-channel marketing plans.
  • Leverages data and insights to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive traffic and conversion.
  • Creates and executes the annual marketing plan, including seasonal calendar, consumer target segments, objectives, promotions, and creative approach.
  • Works collaboratively and effectively with our agency partners and internal creative team to brief, review, and refine creative in line with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee creative testing and asset optimization in partnership with Analytics to maximize effectiveness.
  • Partners with Analytics to surface key customer insights and leverage demand modeling and multi-touch attribution modeling to inform marketing investment decisions.
  • Build, refine, and execute annual multi-channel media plans based on analytics, best practices, industry trends, and business performance.
  • Identifies, initiates, and leverages Partnership and Affiliate strategies to build awareness and conversion to the CarParts brand.
  • Negotiates fees and manages the Advertising, Media, and agencies' scope and delivery.
  • Identify, establish, develop, and optimize evolving success metrics.
  • Leverage data, market insights, marketing tools, and the spectrum of marketing channels to develop and execute impactful strategic recommendations.
  • Leads, mentors, and develops staff through planning, communicating, delivering feedback, and providing growth opportunities.
  • Responsible for co-op marketing program planning and budgets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of marketing methodologies, best practices, and processes.
  • Identify, establish, develop, and optimize evolving success metrics.

You Must Have

  • Minimum of 7 years as a marketing leader in a comparable-sized organization.
  • Experience managing a global team and multiple agencies.
  • At least 5 years serving in a supervisory capacity with proven experience leading cross-functional teams to a successful outcome.
  • Proven experience in managing complex, integrated marketing strategies and programs across multiple channels (i.e. online and direct mail) in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Demonstrated creativity and creative management, including strong demonstrated experience in leading creative work and agency partnerships.
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to creatively problem-solve.
  • Experience in analytics and data-driven business planning.
  • Expertise in identifying consumer insights and implications.
  • Content and retention marketing experience.
  • Strong digital and marketing technology experience, including managing tools and systems such as Content Delivery Platform, CRM, etc.
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at various levels.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and oral.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is based on the job experience, education level, global geographic region, etc.: $223,000-$283,000.
