Job Description
As a AVP, Platform Partnerships you will be responsible for the growth of new and existing platform partnerships through business development, relationship management, education, market analysis, and tactical execution. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience growing and managing partnerships in the enterprise healthcare technology industry with proven success in driving opportunities via complex partner networks. You will have shown the ability to think strategically and navigate complex partner ecosystems.Â
It is vital to have strong partner management and communication skills, well-developed strategic thinking skills, an understanding of optimal partner models, and the ability to develop trusted relationships with partner leaders.
In this role, you will:
- Lead a selection of League’s strategic platform partners
- Work with the global growth organization and cross-functionally in League to lead partner development with key strategic partners.
- Manage complex partners across a variety of models including: referral, co-sell, resell, OEM, and “white label”
- Align with key external partner stakeholders to develop the near and long-term strategies for growth while managing the overall progress, performance, and maturation of the relationship.Â
- Be accountable for the success of the partnership, including identifying opportunities for growth, expanding the partnership, and negotiating new business terms/contracts as required.
- Navigate complex partner networks and build predictable lead channels
- Drive key deliverables, and ensure the mutual success of the partnership.Â
- Hold yourself and growth team peers accountable to operational process
- Consistently identify opportunities and develop engagement strategies that align to platform go-to-market segments by working in conjunction with the Sales Executives and business development representatives of key platform partners.Â
- Work in conjunction with the League growth team to grow top, mid, and bottom funnel opportunities and clients
- Support cross-functional collaboration across League business, product & operations teamsÂ
- Work cross-functionally to develop “better together” outlines of the joint value proposition with partners
- Set mutual goals with partners on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Interface with key partners to be a trusted advisor and advocate for platform opportunities.
- Partner with marketing on strategies and opportunities for broad platform brand awareness, partner education, new platform releases, and enhancements and find opportunities to co-promote League through joint blogs, podcasts, webinars, case studies, seminars, etc.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in the healthcare technology industry
- 5+ years of partner or channel development/management
- Demonstrated success building and driving revenue through partner channels
- Experience working with Senior Executives and Leaders at major Fortune 500 or equivalent organizations
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Experience working with a cross functional team to deliver large strategic projects with complex cross-functional work streams
- Relevant partner management experience with growth KPIs
- Healthcare, digital transformation, consumer omni-channel experience, or patient engagement experience is preferred
- Entrepreneurial experience or building proven net new partner growth lines at a hyper-growth organization is preferred
