Role Summary/Purpose:

We are looking for a Product Manager that is focused on managing the lifecycle of our physical point of sales devices withing the Health and Wellness market. As a critical member of the Core Product team, the Device Product Manager is responsible for developing and leading the product roadmap to achieve our customer, partner and business objectives.

This role includes being the product subject matter expert, gaining alignment with the organization and key stakeholders, while guiding the lifecycle management from concept to end of life. This Product Manager is detail oriented, a team player that collaborates well cross functionally and acts as an owner, proactively taking initiative. This role will have immediate active management of Verifone terminals running our software, Pax terminals through a partnership with a 3rd party, Clover devices and associated apps and iPads in our providers offices. In addition to the lifecycle management activities associated with these this role will be an important part of evaluating future opportunities for fit and opportunity in our eco-system.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Own product lifecycles from ideation to execution, including product specifications and requirements, wing-to-wing experience, testing cost/benefit analysis, and performance measurement. Lead cross-functional teams, in a matrixed environment, through project plans that include major milestones, critical risk indicators, measures of success and contingencies.
  • Provide technology support, client relationship, project management, vendor management, and functional expertise
  • Function independently in a Project Management capacity and address issues proactively to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on the marketing and positioning through the products lifecycle.
  • Experience and Knowledge of the Acquiring Networks and Web technology and development approaches
  • Experience implementing consumer facing digital channels
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Plan and communicate the project status, milestones and critical issues with key stakeholders (business, client, Technology).
  • Responsible for financials and controllership for assigned projects.
  • Ensures process rigor and adherence to project methodology standards, including ensuring all required project and client documentation is updated accordingly.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and a minimum of 6 years of marketing or product experience in the credit card or financial services industries
  • Minimum of 3 years in product management, marketing, or technology roles that include:

    • A proven track record of gathering business requirements, planning and defining enhancements, and managing projects through their lifecycle
    • Ability to influence and coordinate multi-functional teams

Desired Qualifications:

  • Credit card, consumer finance or financial services industry experience
  • Experience within credit card processing marketplace and understanding of latest customer experiences, features, enhancements, news, and trends in the space
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives and projects in a matrixed environment
  • Outstanding communication, relationship building, influencing and collaboration skills
  • Strategic thinking with ability to develop and implement actionable plans to drive business results
  • 5+ years marketing or product innovation/management experience
  • 5+ years managing people and teams
  • Strong background working in a matrix environment clients, reporting on performance and delivering results
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions in a fast-changing environment
  • P&L experience with solid understanding of business financials
  • Current on financial services, payments industry trends, competitors, emerging technologies and companies
  • Strong technical knowledge (preferably in financial services)

Grade/Level: 10

The salary range for this position is 65,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
