Role Summary/Purpose:

Product Owner, PRISM will be responsible for driving the agile team(s) and conducting stakeholder meetings to provide updates at regular intervals, hear back from them to adjust features and work on them accordingly. The ideal candidate will have a strong credit and project management background with a focus on Credit/Fraud products and a proven track record of representing the business, partnering with a cross-functional project team, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This role will also be the primary coordination point between the digital team and the Credit organization. This role will Collaborate with businesses to identify alert requirements and write user stories.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Serve as PO for the Centralized Data Store agile team on PRISM a large solution train
  • Develop the product roadmap, prioritizing, scheduling, and tracking the implementation of product features for Centralized Data Store
  • Ensure the needs of the business and customers are met, plans are communicated, and issues are raised quickly and resolved
  • Work closely with PRISM Business Owners across Acquisitions, Account Management, Collections and Authentication teams
  • Subject matter expert for Centralized Data Store
  • Collaborate with other product owners to deliver functionality across the PRISM program.
  • Plan and prioritize features and user stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value
  • Align with the Product Manager and other PRISM leads at a program level
  • Lead the product release plans and set the expectation for the delivery of new functionalities
  • Actively engage in PI (program increment) planning as part of the SAFe framework
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years in consumer risk management, credit data management, or a similar role; in lieu of a degree 7+ years' in consumer risk management, credit data management, or a similar role
  • 3+ years of project management experience, in a Waterfall and Agile environment
  • 2+ years of cross-functional team leadership management experience

Desired Characteristics:

  • Prior SAFe PO experience
  • Experience in credit products including Acquisitions, Account Management, Collections, and Authentication
  • Prior working knowledge of Data Warehouse/Data Lake/Cloud Data Architecture
  • Well Familiar with Data Base tools
  • Prior working knowledge of SAS/MySQL/Python
  • Strong influencing skills in a complex matrix working environment
  • High energy, self-motivated, with strong communication skills in articulating complex concepts (verbal and written)
  • Experience in the banking/credit card industry
  • Track record of creative problem solving and resourcefulness and ability to thrive in a cross-functional and virtual environment
  • Experience with Agile software development framework, acting in the Product Owner role
  • Experience with managing direct reports or through a matrixed environment
  • Experience working with a distributed team

Grade/Level: 11

The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
