AVP, Sales Support Manager - JCPenney
Job Description
Role Summary/Purpose:
Develop, coordinate, and ensure execution of all credit communications, campaigns, initiatives and training materials sent to the field sales team and JCPenney Stores by staying involved in all JCPenney Credit programs and initiatives that directly impact Stores.
This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. To ensure the safety of our colleagues and communities, we require employees who come together in-person to be fully vaccinated. We're proud to offer you choice and flexibility.
Dallas area is preferred but open to other locations as well.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensure all communications for client move through the appropriate review and approval protocols as business dictates through compliance.
- Store Compliance for apps, benefit packages & signs multiple times per year for new sets. High engagement for 5-7 days following each new set and moderate involvement day to day to support the business
- Manage field sales annual Marketing Ob Fund Budget on a weekly, monthly basis with report outs to Finance on a bi-weekly basis
- Create bi-weekly payout files for stores and submit to JCP SLC Accounting
- Manage Vendor relations/suppliers for credit collateral, premiums and other credit initiatives
- Develop, coordinate and ensure execution of all JCPenney/SYF credit communications related to JCPenney Credit programs and initiatives. This includes the core acquisition Just Ask! Program, campaigns and other efforts to drive the business.
- Compilation of ME Reports for client use and loading to jWeb
- Develop and coordinate all JCPenney In-Store Credit training through multiple vehicles. This includes the jWeb, Store Broadcasts, new departments, training workshops, and divisional meetings, etc.
- Foster internal cross-functional relationships within SYF to facilitate effective communications, training, program rollouts, and best practice sharing.
- Maintain jWeb and Extranet sites (weekly HTML web page design, updates and modifications) accessible by all JCP stores, district/regional personnel, SYF CSMs, Regionals and other SYF staff. Own the SFTP process for JCP field sales.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and support Credit Sales Team monthly & annual meetings
- Develop, update, and maintain Credit Training for CSMs and Store Associates
- Maintain Support Central site (NAC) to provide the store services team with new and updated information needed to drive results.
- New Hire CSM Onboarding
- Campaign design and execution
- Point of contact for CSM escalation related to instore issues
- SFDC (CSM/Store alignment, SYF user goals, visit page, Seismic and troubleshooting of issues related to SFDC)
- Own the Buy-to-Pay process for the Frisco site - includes PO request/management, vendor bill pay, new vendor set-ups & modifications
- Onsite store support for grand openings, remodels and other client driven credit initiatives
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, or in lieu of degree, HS diploma and 5+ years of equivalent work experience in the Financial Services field.
- Minimum of 3 years' project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects at once
- In depth knowledge of and at least one year experience with SalesForce.com
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an external market/client facing role with a proven track record of being able to drive growth and develop strong partner relationships

- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (written, oral, nonverbal).
- Private Label Sales and Marketing experience will be a plus. Strong finance business/industry acumen
Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be 18 years or older
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
- You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).

The salary range for this position is 65,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
