Role Summary/Purpose:

The AVP, Source-to-Pay Communications Lead will be responsible for managing the cross-functional communications for S2P team members and business users as well our suppliers. This role will ensure effective communication, engagement, and involvement, both within the organization and externally , to support our goals. The role requires a leader who has the ability to tailor communications based on the audience.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the Source to Pay Communications Strategy based on the brand and image of the overall organization and it its value proposition for Synchrony with associated metrics and tracking (e.g. click rates, readability, usage)
  • Initiate the identification and development of key messages, topics and communications across Source to Pay
  • Lead, manage and coordinate Source to Pay BAU activities including, but not limited to Newsletters, Townhalls, Forums, Focus Groups, Surveys, GPTW, End User Councils, Teams Sites and Syncranet.
  • Translate complex topics and processes into simplified and meaningful messages and supporting materials based on audiences.
  • Partner with business leaders on non-project related activities that require communication/ change management support to various audiences.
  • Assess and define audience impacts and determine appropriate modalities to execute (emails, Syncranet, videos etc.)
  • Partner with S2P Program Management Office (PMO) by leading and defining Change Management activities and impacts for in scope S2P projects
  • Coordinate and lead audience impact analysis, identify overlaps and gaps across project work and BAU
  • Partner with Training Leader to create training curriculum and eLearning's when necessary
  • Lead/Participate in other project related activities when necessary

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree - in lieu of degree or with a combination of 7+ years' experience in Communications, Education/Training, Change Management or Project Management
  • 3+ years' experience in developing executive level communications and presentations
  • 3+ years' experience influencing and partnering with cross functional business leaders

Desired Characteristics:

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Source-to-Pay background is a plus
  • Prior Project Management experience will be useful in partnering with the project team
  • An early adopter in new technology and tools to improve and evolve the channels and modalities to support end user audiences
  • Experience in SharePoint design and navigation
  • Experience in writing and developing training curriculum
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams

Grade/Level: 11

The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
