Role Summary/Purpose:

As a critical member of the Hispanic Center of Excellence, the Spanish Capability and Product Integration AVP , will evaluate and facilitate partner recommendations for integrating Spanish capabilities and products. This role will require the ability to foster relationships, influence prioritization, obtain buy in from various stakeholders and successfully partner cross functionally to drive Spanish strategies forward. He/she/they will provide oversight regarding new portfolio capability launches, support ongoing enhancements, and oversee and execute the Spanish Language Standard.

Position Overview:

The New Spanish Capability and Product Integrations AVP supports integrating across various acquisition strategies and will manage and execute the Spanish Language Standard. He/She/They will leads cross functional meetings and will partner with the appropriate teams to prioritize all resources and investments to execute on roadmaps.

Essential Responsibilities:

Client/Strategy:

  • Assess client acquisition strategy and determine best integration strategy for Spanish
  • Develop client roadmap, project plans and timelines for client integrations
  • Support Client discussions and NCI builds as SME for requirements needed to launch Spanish integrations
  • Champions the operational activities necessary to solve partner and product problems including development of systems, communications and processes
  • Work closely with governance teams to ensure Spanish standards and rollout requirements are met and evolving with business needs
  • Develop and report out on program OKRs
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Integration:

  • Work with cross functional teams including compliance, legal, and risk testing to ensure proper approvals are given for acquisition strategy screens and flow
  • Ensure cross functional partners engaged with testing, implementation and monitoring
  • Partner with Spanish agile testing team to ensure successful execution
  • Work with appropriate development teams to prioritize efforts
  • Keep adequate documentation for each client launch and monitoring plan in centralized repository
  • Manage monitoring of client rollouts

Spanish Standard and Governance

  • Own and evolve the Spanish Language Standard to meet growing business needs.
  • Lead meetings and execute on responsibilities under the Hispanic COE as outlined per Spanish Standard
  • Support internal and regulatory requests regarding Spanish capabilities

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 6 years of product development or technology integration experience in the credit card, financial services or technology industries
  • Bilingual: Spanish
  • Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience that includes:

    • Leading large complex programs over multiple releases
    • A proven track record of launching new products or programs with demonstrated business impact
    • Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and independently, while maintaining a high degree of communication and documentation.
    • Professional, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a proven track record of execution against deliverables
    • Cultivates collaborative relationships with key internal and external partners
    • Ability to influence and coordinate multi-functional teams
    • Excellent program management skills and the ability to instill structure, process and accountability
    • Ability to handle sensitive issues with uncompromising integrity and confidentiality
    • Excellent organizational skills, including experience in issue and conflict resolution

Desired Characteristics:

  • Credit card, consumer finance, payments, financial services or retail services industry experience.
  • Creative problem-solving skills

  • Skilled storyteller and adept at developing presentations and pitch decks

Grade/Level: 11

The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
