AVP, Strategic Initiatives

Essential Duties: 

• Work with the VP, Corporate Strategy and Services to define key projects that align with WelbeHealth’s long term vision and near-term Operating Plan
• Leverage analytics skills to assess and diagnose key problem areas in partnership with the executive team
• Initiate and monitor comprehensive project plans to ensure discrete workstreams track to project milestones, with limited oversight
• Convene workgroups and steering committee meetings with leadership to ensure work tracks to plan, including preparing clear, concise materials for executive team distribution
• Deliver desired outcomes in a timely manner that meetings company goals, and work with operations teams to ensure learnings and process changes “stick”
• Assess impact against company KPIs and project goals
• Communicate progress and outcomes updates to multiple internal audiences to build awareness and support
• Work cross-functionally with other project management and performance excellence team members in support of common goals

Skills and Experience:  

• 7-10+ years of healthcare consulting, operations and/or strategy experience in healthcare or highly related industry. Prior healthcare consulting experience required.
• Required Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant area; preferred MBA, MHA or relevant Master’s degree from a top program OR equivalency work experience
• Experience working with executive teams, thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and is very mission-driven.
• Exceptional demonstrated systems thinking/problem solving skills
• Excellent influence, collaboration and partnership skills, as this role will require significant navigation of a matrixed organization
• Expert in Microsoft suite, especially PowerPoint
• History of executing on complex, interconnected projects and processes
