Your Team, Your Impact

The Associate Vice President of System Hardware Engineering will lead and manage the hardware engineering team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of high-performance system hardware solutions. This role is critical in driving the hardware strategy, validation, and productization of high-speed interfaces of our ICs, ensuring product quality, and maintaining the company's competitive edge in the market. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software, firmware, and product management, to deliver innovative products that meet customer needs and industry standards

What You Can Expect

  • Led and managed teams of highly skilled engineers in signal integrity, package design, system/board design, and high-speed interface validation.
  • Drive the execution of system hardware projects from concept to production, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with software, firmware, and IP providers for our solution.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies and apply this knowledge to innovate and improve package and hardware designs.
  • Establish strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including product management, marketing, and technical teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the development and implementation of best practices for hardware design, validation, and debugging.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery of hardware projects within scope and schedule.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 20+ years of experience in hardware engineering and management, focusing on system-level design and development in the semiconductor industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading hardware engineering teams and delivering high-quality hardware products.
  • Strong technical expertise in signal integrity, power management, and thermal management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical and strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with semiconductor operations teams is an advantage.
  • Experience in switching related technologies is an advantage.
