AVP / Web Developer
Job Description
What You'll Do:
Responsible for designing and developing software that will be used by the Client Group, including but not limited to: API Development in #, web development using a combination of C#, ASP.Net MVC, JavaScript, Svelte, HTML and CSS. Initially, this candidate will focus on the development of SMA Service Center, a new internal-facing web application that enables the prospecting of new clients and the servicing of existing SMA clients for our US Retail teams.
Responsibilities
Candidate will be responsible for architecting, building, testing, and maintaining robust modern web-based software for the Client Group, especially SMA Service Center. Candidate will also instill best practices for software development and documentation, ensure designs meet requirements, deliver high-quality code, and pro-actively seek out and learn new technologies. The individual will build relationships with existing internal and external impacted teams to better understand needs and communicate change management.
- Design web-based applications
- Vet internal and external data source for utility as new data sources or for enriching existing data
- Responsible for new and on-going development of data pipelines sourcing from internal and external parties
- Drive continuous improvement of data quality, resiliency, control, efficiency, and monitoring
- Work with stakeholders to improve knowledge and processes
- Provide support during unexpected outages
- Troubleshooting complex system interactions to find the root cause to problems
