Job Description Summary

We are seeking a Pune, India based Programmer/Analyst to join the Private Client Operations IT in Global Technology & Operations..

Team/Group Description

Private Client Operations IT develops and supports software used across Private Client Operations with a focus on Private Client – Investment Management Operation (PC-IMO).

PC-IMO department is responsible for asset servicing such as transferring assets to and from other financial institutions (brokers and money managers). The work performed by our team touches on other Private Client Operations processes such as Client Reporting and Investment Performance Measurement. The team is also responsible for maintaining CORE Framework (Front-end and backend) used by a number of other IT groups across the firm.

Role Description

The Programmer/Analyst would write and maintain code that automates or supports operations business processes. Skills in programming, business analysis, system design, as well as finance are required daily

Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Interface with various Private Client Operations teams, acting as a business analyst/full-stack software developer; enabling operational efficiency.
• Analyze new business requirements and develop solutions that address those requirements.
• Implement programs to be executed by a batch processing system (PCS).
• Oversee retirement of existing legacy systems.
• Provide new system design solutions to allow streamlined communication between various teams within the Private Client SBU.

Job Qualifications (The ideal candidate should have the following)

The ideal candidate should have the following Qualifications, Experience, and Education:

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics or a related major
• Knowledge of database principles/architecture (SQL) and experience with various relational/non-relational database management systems (2-3 years).
• 1+ years of experience in developing desktop applications (.NET Framework)
• Proficiency in scripting (Python or Perl) and experience with Restful API (ASP.NET) is helpful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to liaise with people at al levels both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity of financial markets/market participants, and back-office processes is a plus.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience working with global teams.
