This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an AWS AI/ML Developer | Mid in Brazil.
This role is focused on building and scaling cutting-edge Generative AI solutions that transform how organizations process, understand, and extract value from unstructured data. You will work on end-to-end AI pipelines, from data ingestion and document preparation to LLM integration and semantic search systems. The environment is highly technical and cloud-driven, leveraging both AWS and Azure AI services to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions. You will contribute directly to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, embedding systems, and vector databases powering intelligent applications. Working closely with stakeholders, you will translate business needs into AI-driven solutions with measurable impact. This position offers strong exposure to modern GenAI ecosystems, advanced cloud architectures, and real-world AI product development.
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and evolve Generative AI solutions focused on document processing and intelligent data extraction.
- Build and maintain automated data ingestion and transformation pipelines for RAG-based architectures.
- Prepare, structure, and optimize documents for processing by large language models (LLMs).
- Develop and integrate AI solutions using cloud services, including AWS Bedrock and Azure AI Services.
- Implement semantic search, embeddings, and vector database solutions for advanced information retrieval.
- Engineer and optimize prompts to improve accuracy, relevance, and performance of LLM outputs.
- Integrate generative AI APIs such as OpenAI and equivalent services into scalable applications.
- Contribute to the design of cloud-native, scalable AI architectures.
- Define and execute functional and technical testing strategies for AI solutions.
- Create monitoring metrics and KPIs to evaluate performance, quality, and effectiveness of AI systems.
- Produce technical documentation and collaborate with stakeholders to align AI solutions with business needs.
- Present insights, results, and solution evolutions to both technical and business audiences.
- Support continuous improvement of GenAI frameworks, tools, and engineering practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or postgraduate qualification in a related field (minimum 360 hours recognized by MEC).
- At least 4 years of professional experience in technology-related roles.
- Strong experience with Generative AI solutions and integration of Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Solid understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
- Experience building automated data ingestion and processing pipelines for AI applications.
- Advanced knowledge of Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI and Document Intelligence.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, especially Amazon Bedrock.
- Strong experience integrating APIs for chat and LLM-based applications.
- Knowledge of embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search techniques.
- Experience designing cloud-based AI architectures.
- Strong Python programming skills for scalable AI development and integration.
- Experience handling and processing large-scale datasets.
- Proficiency with Git for version control.
- Ability to document technical solutions and communicate effectively across technical and business teams.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in complex environments.
- Experience with AI-driven document analysis projects.
- Knowledge of advanced prompt engineering techniques.
- Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or similar tools.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring of AI systems.
- Experience optimizing AI model quality metrics and evaluation strategies.
- Knowledge of hybrid search systems combining semantic and traditional search.
- Cloud or AI certifications (Azure, AWS, or related domains).
