AWS Cloud Architect

Tiger Analytics team is looking for a strategic-minded technology leader with a strong track record of identifying gaps, defining roadmaps, and seeing solutions through from ideation to fruition. This role will provide technical solution to multiple engineering and operation teams, develop platform architecture blueprints, guide the development of junior engineers into individual-contributor leaders, and bridge the gaps between platform teams with application and central architecture teams. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in software engineering, architecture, and large-scale delivery in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Professional Competencies:

• Define target state architecture for the AWS Cloud platform to build Analytical platform both for data storage and data pipeline compute perspective.
• Should be seasoned professional to design and implement modern technologies required for platform to build Analytical Solution.
• Promote awareness of security principles and standards in architecture and development community
• Mentor and guide team members performance best practices and help in implementing the design.
• Strong working experience in AWS IAM, Glue, Spark, Lambda, Redshift Serverless, Data Lake, Lake Formation, Python, Cross account access provisioning etc.
• Well versed in Data Governance procedure. and build architecture for compliance with technology standards and alignment with customer guidelines.
• Good knowledge of AWS network components VPC, subnet etc.
• Seasoned in presenting the solution architecture to customer and drive the implementation.
• Deliver, or consult in the delivery of, solution architecture design documents

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience
• 5+ years of practical experience with architectural, engineering, and operational aspects of AWS cloud technologies
• Demonstrated track record of making technical decisions at the application and organization level (vendor/technology selection, solution architecture, assessing tradeoffs)
• Experience architecting, or leading development teams of, cloud-based or cloud-ready apps
• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps processes
• Experience with Agile development methodology and Test-Driven Development
• Demonstrated technology leadership, architecting solutions, and influencing
• Hands-on development experience with Enterprise scale applications
• Leadership qualities engineers recognize and respect
• Good judgment and the ability to prioritize conflicting demands
• Broad knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies, patterns, frameworks and industry trends, etc.
• Experience with large Pharma Institutions is preferred
