AWS Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities 

• Design, implement, and manage AWS-based infrastructure services, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide guidance on best practices for AWS cloud architecture. 

• Develop and maintain automation scripts for deploying and managing infrastructure resources in AWS. 

• Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS resources, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks. 

• Implement and manage AWS security measures, including access controls, encryption, and compliance. 

• Conduct regular reviews to identify opportunities for optimization and cost-saving measures within the AWS environment. 

• Stay up to date with latest AWS technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for their adoption and implementation 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 

• Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or similar role, preferably in a consulting environment. 

• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS, CloudFront, API Gateways and RDS. 

• Good understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and VPN. 

• Proficient in scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash. 

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies. 

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable
