Job Description
The AWS Cloud Sales team owns the cloud co-sell motion with our customers, Databricks field teams, consulting partners, ISV partners and the AWS sales organization. Reporting to the Director of AWS Cloud Sales for the Americas, the AWS Cloud Sales Manager engages throughout the full sales cycle to achieve successful outcomes for our customers, and to surpass customer acquisition and revenue growth targets for our Databricks on AWS business.
The impact you will have:
- Work backwards from customer goals to position Databricks on AWS for our customers, partners and for Databricks success
- Influence the sales and GTM strategy of AWS Sales Leaders (L8+), District Managers, Account Executives, Solution Architects, Sales Specialists, ISMs, PSMs and Business Development teams
- Inspire these AWS teams to lead with Databricks on AWS for our mutual customers' most strategic Data and AI programs
- Implement joint sales plays with Databricks, AWS, ISV and consulting partners to unlock new opportunities with AWS's most, strategic customers
- Build a foundation for future growth to help us scale Databricks
What we look for:
- Senior or Principal level sales leaders that operate like owners
- 7+ years of sales experience in Cloud, big data, or SaaS
- AWS Sales, ISM, PSM, or extended ecosystem experience
- Experience with the software usage-based sales motion, and how to maximize your impact with the right inputs and activities to accelerate customer acquisition and growth programs
- Curiosity to explore new opportunities that include a combination of sales, partner (cloud, consulting, ISV) and alliance GTM responsibilities
