AWS Cognitive Engineer

Hiring an AWS Cognitive Engineer to build GenAI and AI agent solutions using Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and NVIDIA GPU‑powered infrastructure.

 

Job Summary:

 

As an AWS Cognitive Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy agentic AI and GenAI‑powered applications that translate advanced AI capabilities into real business outcomes. This role partners closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high‑performance AI solutions leveraging AWS AI platforms, foundation models, and accelerated compute infrastructure.

 

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in AWS, Generative AI, and AI agent architectures.
• Design and implement LLM‑powered and agent‑based applications aligned with business use cases.
• Build AI solutions using:
  • Amazon Bedrock & Amazon Bedrock AgentCore
  • Strands Agents
  • Amazon Nova foundation models
• Develop AI workflows including reasoning, orchestration, RAG, and tool execution.
• Train, fine‑tune, and deploy models using Amazon SageMaker AI.
• Optimize AI workloads using AWS accelerated compute:
  • Amazon EC2 P5 and P6 instances
  • UltraServers and UltraClusters powered by NVIDIA GPUs
  • AWS Trainium (training)
  • AWS Inferentia (inference)
• Architect scalable and resilient microservices and containerized AI applications.
• Apply MLOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and performance optimization best practices.
• Ensure adherence to security, governance, and responsible AI standards.
• Support project estimation, planning, and delivery milestones for AI initiatives.

• Languages/Tools: Python, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes

What We’re Looking For:

• 3 yrs or more experience building solutions on AWS.
• Proven experience with AI/ML, GenAI, or LLM‑based applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python and API‑driven integrations.
• Solid understanding of:
  • Cloud‑native and microservices architectures
  • AI model lifecycle and MLOps
  • GPU‑accelerated and high‑performance compute environments
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Flexible to report onsite at any of the Manila office locations: Alabang, BGC, Cubao, and Mandaluyong City)
