AWS Data Engineer (Snowflake)

InfoCentric is currently hiring an AWS Data Engineer(Snowflake) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven data engineering experience utilizing innovative data technologies and data science techniques.

Responsibilities:

-Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using AWS Cloud.

-Design and develop logical and physical data models using data modelling tools and techniques (eg Kimball)

-Work with data engineers and developers to create ETL processes and data pipelines in Snowflake.

-Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

-Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.

Skills required :

-Experience as a data modeller within a large and complex data warehouse environment

-Experienced with Erwin modelling tool and Snowflake (mandatory)

-Experienced working in agile project environments.

-Experience with Oracle DBMS is desirable.

-Experience with MicroStrategy or a similar BI tool (desirable)

-Experience in the Education sector is desirable.
