Certification: Must be DoD 8140 Certified

Black Bear Technology seeks a talented AWS Developer to join the team to support the National Security and Innovative Solutions Sector. This position will enable national security missions through the creation and delivery of innovative, technology-centric solutions that provide decision advantages to our customers. Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code within a cloud infrastructure to support our data collections and services
• Contribute to continuous delivery and test-driven development
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Contribute to engineering best practices, processes, and knowledge sharing
• Contribute to daily tech-related operations that evolve with platform architecture
• Support deployments and infrastructure
• Actively contribute to the agile development process in a continuous development/continuous integration (CI/CD) framework
• Collaborating with team members to plan, estimate, and write clear user stories / acceptance criteria and communicate effectively for example, using Slack, Teams, etc.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based environments.
• Proven track record delivering high availability architectures, including load balancing, fault-tolerance, and cloud computing (infrastructure as code, configuration management systems)
• Strong experience with Docker, Terraform, and AWS
• Experience working in an agile environment
• AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps, or Cloud certification
• DoD 8140 (previously 8570) certified (Sec+, Net+, CISSP, etc.)

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related IT, engineering, or physical sciences field from an accredited institution.
