Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic AWS Public Cloud Administrator Summer Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cloud computing, specifically with Amazon Web Services (AWS), while working alongside experienced professionals in a real-world setting.
As an AWS Public Cloud Administrator Summer Intern, you will assist in managing and maintaining our AWS cloud infrastructure. You'll have the chance to work on various projects, learn about cloud security and compliance, and develop valuable skills in cloud administration and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage AWS resources, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and VPCs
- Assist in basic AWS environment buildouts (e.g., VPC, EC2, Transit Gateway)
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot issues
- Contribute to the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation scripts
- Help create and maintain technical documentation
- Assist in implementing security best practices and compliance measures
- Collaborate with team members on various cloud-related projects
- Participate in root cause analysis for basic end-user problems
- Support basic level requests, such as password resets
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in cloud computing and AWS technologies
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and computer systems
- Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification is a plus
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Pay Range: $22 - $25 hourly
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
