AWS Systems Analyst (Virtual)

In this role, you will:

• Establish, implement, and document standard processes for our non-prod AWS environment to achieve optimal operation and cost management
• Right-size test environments
• Monitor and decommission unused environments
• Retention policies for artifacts stored in AWS
• Build reports and procedures to monitor non-prod environment usage
• Enforce the AWS standard processes within the organization
• Deploy and manage test environments
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure that enables automation and performance testing efforts
• Provide mentorship to the DevOps team on environment deployment and process automation
• Collaborate with engineering teams and leadership to achieve company goals regarding AWS usage and infrastructure

• 2+ years of total experience in QA or DevOps roles
• 2+ years of experience with SaaS applications
• Proficient with Amazon Web Services
• One or more AWS Certifications (E.g. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate)
• Practical programming or scripting language experience
• Proficient in fixing and debugging test environments and scripts.
• Ability to write SQL queries
• Familiarity with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with REST APIs
• Knowledge with Performance and Load testing
• Knowledge of Automation frameworks and tools
• Experience crafting and deploying test environments (AWS preferred)
• Experience with shell scripting (bash, batch, PowerShell, etc.)
• Experience with version control tools (Git, GitHub preferred)
