Azure and Snowflake Cloud Solution Architect Lead

Infosys is seeking an Azure & Snowflake Architect. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will provide inputs for identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; develop design of applications, provide regular support and guidance to project teams on complex coding and issue resolution with the objective of ensuring best-fit and high-quality technical solutions within the area of technology specialization and in compliance with guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas,TX or Atlanta, GA or Kansas city, KS or Raleigh, NCor be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
  

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience
• At least 5 years of direct experience in architecting solutions on Azure and Snowflake
• Advanced knowledge of Kafka internals (producers, consumers, brokers, topics, partitions).
• Experience with building and managing available and scalable Kafka clusters.
• In-depth knowledge of Kafka Streams and Stream Processing APIs for real-time data processing.
• Expertise in configuring and using Kafka Connect for efficient data integration with various sources and sinks.
• Expertise in data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions).
• Experience with change data capture (CDC) mechanisms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good understanding of data integration, data quality and data architecture
• Firsthand Experience in in BI development, especially in areas involving Kafka, ETL, data modeling, advanced SQL, and large-scale real-time data processing projects.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel will be required as per the job requirements.
