Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Azure Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Azure services and solutions, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions for our clients. This role requires a combination of strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for driving customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure cloud architecture solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-effective
• Create functional design specifications, Azure reference architectures, and other project deliverables
• Provide recommendations for cloud migrations and develop technical implementation roadmaps for Azure adoption
• Lead and mentor a team of architects and engineers, guiding them through the implementation of Azure solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Azure and other public cloud platforms
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including scoping technical requirements and developing solutions for prospective clients
• Conduct PoCs (Proof of Concepts) and demos to showcase Azure capabilities and solutions
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in all cloud solutions

Azure Application Development Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy Azure-based applications using services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Implement microservices architecture using Azure Service Fabric or Kubernetes
• Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline setup, source control, and release management
• Design and develop APIs using Azure API Management and Azure Logic Apps
• Implement application monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Application Insights
• Integrate Azure Identity and Access Management solutions including Azure Active Directory, Azure AD B2C, and role-based access control (RBAC)
• Optimize application performance and scalability using Azure Redis Cache, Azure CDN, and Azure Front Door
• Leverage Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and other Azure data services for application data storage needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing Azure-based solutions
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certifications preferred
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates)
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
• Experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of Azure networking, virtual networks, and VPN configurations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud issues
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in building and managing hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration projects

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
• Experience with data migrations using tools like AppZero or Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks such as ITIL, TOGAF, or similar
