Azure Architect

We currently have a vacancy for an Azure Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site

Your tasks

• Data analysis and modelling (large volumes of data from several data sources);
• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components;
• Engineering of Azure data lake storage (raw data, unstructured, semi-structured, scrapped content);
• Technical interface between project leaders and developers;
• Analysis of possible integration of generative AI components;
• Analysis of compliance with applicable standards (including Information and IT Security);
• Contribute to IT Security Risk analysis;
• Elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements and business case analysis.

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with a minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Excellent experience in architecture in the cloud (Microsoft Azure);
• Excellent experience in modelling tools and application design;
• Experience in building cloud native systems;
• Experience with engineering data lake and data pipelines;
• Experience with fetching data using APIs to the data lake and cleanse them;
• Good knowledge of architecture best practices and patterns;
• Good knowledge of microservices;
• Good knowledge of Relational DBMS;
• A certification Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert would be considered a very valuable asset;
• Excellent command of the English language.
