Azure Architect (Chennai & Pune)

Responsibilities;

• Vision, Architect solution proposal and Support business development
• Lead the design, planning and implementation of innovative cloud solutions
• Work with the customer to establish Cloud migration roadmaps and priorities and get implementation signoff
• Build application portfolio analysis to identify candidate applications and workloads for migration to the Cloud
• Develop target pricing and cost models for migration engagements, while ensuring risks are understood and mitigated
• Validate technical feasibility and target solution architects options
• Database re-architect and database migration to Cloud.
• Collaborating with engineering and client team to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions
• Reviewing system design in accordance with cloud best practices, making recommendations on required security guardrails and cost optimizations
• Identifying, analysing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
• Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs
• Reducing tech debt, operation efficiency and reduce database cost.

Competencies;

• 8+ years of total industry experience and more than 5+ years of Azure experience
• Experience in Cloud FinOps/Cost Optimization
• Migration experience to Azure Cloud ( Lift and Shifting & Re-platform )
• Experience in Cloud Migration and modernization implementation
• Understanding on cloud security, landing zone, cloud infrastructure and cloud native services
• Understanding of the best practices related to Azure Services and their configurations. Being able to strike a balance between application performance and cost of Azure service.
• Sound understanding of cloud networking and security best practices
• Good domain expertise of cloud infrastructure compute, network, and storage as well as the cloud control plane
• Good Knowledge of virtualization, containers, service-mesh, and enterprise service business
• Good Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, cloud deployments, and on
• Good Knowledge and understanding of key differences between most popular cloud provider solutions and cloud orchestration tools

• Good client management skills
