Azure Cloud Automation

• Senior Cloud Native Azure Developer (hands-on architect) profile
  • Extensive dotnet / C# experience (8+ years)
  ◦ Clear understanding of async/await pattern
  ◦ Hands-on experience in microservices and event-driven architecture
  • Strong knowledge of Azure PaaS services (API Management, SQL Server, Container Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Application Insights are among top ones)
  • Basic understanding of Entra ID, Authentication/Authorization
  • Vast experience with applying SDLC best practices, patterns and principles (e.g. SOLID, DRY, defensive programming, unit-testing)
  • Extensive experience in working with MS API (Graph, ADO, PnP, Azure SDK), ARM, Biceps
  ◦ Infrastructure Automation experience.
  ◦ PowerShell experience

• Automation Development: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud operations and infrastructure management using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform to define and manage cloud infrastructure. Develop reusable Terraform modules and ensure best practices in IaC.
• Cloud-Native Technologies: Design and implement solutions leveraging Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, and other PaaS/IaaS offerings.
• Application Development: Write, debug, and maintain C# applications and services that integrate with cloud infrastructure and automation tools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of automation solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations in both automation scripts and cloud infrastructure.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Develop monitoring solutions and automated reporting systems to ensure the health and performance of cloud infrastructure.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation processes, infrastructure configurations, and application interfaces.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Extensive experience with Terraform and IaC principles.
  • Proficient in C# and object-oriented programming.
  • Strong experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-native architecture.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services and capabilities.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
