Responsibilities
We are looking for a hands-on Azure Data Architect who is experienced with Azure data services, Databricks, and has worked with a data scientist team. This is a hybrid role that requires the ability to work with data engineering / Data science projects. The ideal applicant will have demonstrated experience creating and deploying data solutions on Azure data services and Databricks, as well as a good understanding of data architecture principles.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data solutions in Azure, using services such as Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Databricks MLFlow, Azure Event Hub, Azure SQL, Azure Blob Storage, ADLS Gen2, Log Analytics, Purview, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault.
- Use Snowflake cloud technology, Power Automate and other AI/ML services to develop and implement data solutions.
- Lead data engineering efforts, including designing, and implementing data pipelines and data transformations.
- Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions to meet those needs.
- Ensure data solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Work with other team members to integrate data solutions into existing systems and processes.

Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in enterprise level data-centric projects.

Experience with Azure data services, including Azure Key Vault, Azure Blob Storage, ADLS Gen2, Synapse Pipeline - Serverless SQL pools, Log Analytics, Purview, Azure Functions, and Azure Search.

Experience with SharePoint Syntex / AI Builder, Snowflake, MLFlow, Forms Recognizer, Power Automate, Databricks, Azure SQL, Cognitive Services, and Azure ML.

Strong understanding of data architecture principles.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Ability to work in a cross functional enterprise level team and coordinate with other professionals in Infra/Ops and Information Security departments.
