Simple Technology Solutions is looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to add to our team.

Quick Position Overview:

US Citizenship is required
A bachelor's degree is required
A minimum of 5 years' position related experience is required

The role:

In this role, we are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to support development, modernization, and migration in support of a government multi-cloud environment with 30+ customer tenants and growing. The ideal candidate has engineering lead experience and extensive Azure knowledge and experience with integration, system analysis or programming experience, including developing Azure systems requirements and design specification. To succeed in this role, one must have a passion for performance, be a great communicator, and be comfortable working on an Agile team.

The Azure DevOps Engineer at STS will:

Manage, build, configure, administer, operate, and maintain all components that comprise the DevOps environment
Provide technical direction to personnel performing systems analysis and system/ subsystem development tasks
Coordinate and perform logical and physical systems design
Enforce quality standards for engineered solutions and promote continuous improvement
Prepare reports, studies, and documentation, deliver presentations, and participate in meetings
Design and implement fully automated enterprise pipelines using a suite of DevOps tools:

Jenkins, Terraform, Hashicorp Vault, OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, Chef, Github, Nexus

Maintain and operate services and resources within multiple Cloud Service Provider environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Implement enterprise cloud security, including default governance and compliance standards
Develop and implement automated scripting, ensuring compliance with organizational regulations

Education and Experience:

Required

Bachelor’s Degree

4 years of additional position related experience can be substituted for a degree

5 years' position related experience

Integration, systems analysis, or programming experience

Extensive knowledge and understanding of Azure cloud and deploying in Government environments
Exemplary communication, analytical skills, and technical knowledge across the client environment
Ability to obtain Government Security Clearance

Azure Administrator Associate

Preferred Certifications

Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Other Certificates supporting Microsoft technologies
