Azure, Snowflake Developer

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Snowflake with Azure Data Engineer. The position will primarily be responsible interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Minneapolis, MN or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• US citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
• At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Azure (ADF & Databricks).
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake.
• At least 1 year of experience in SQL, troubleshooting performance issues, identifying root cause and applying fixes.
• At least 1 years' experience in Azure and Python/Shell Scripting languages

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basics of Healthcare domain to understand the business requirements
• Performance tuning of the databases to ensure optimal reporting user experience.
• Design and developed end-to-end ETL process from various source systems to Staging area, from staging to Data Marts and data load.
• Understanding of Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance project.
• Analytical abilities, Strong Technical Skills, Good communication skills
• Awareness of latest technologies and trends
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
