Azure/Angular .NET Developer

Location: Richmond, VA - local candidates only
Position Type: Hybrid, 2-3 days per week onsite or as needed.
Contract Length: 5 months
Position Overview:
The Azure Developer will have expertise in .NET Core, Angular, and cloud infrastructure to design, implement, and optimize cloud-native solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role requires hands-on experience in cloud migration, microservices architecture, Azure services, and DevOps technologies, with a focus on developing scalable, secure applications that align with organizational business needs.
Duties:

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions in Azure, focusing on .NET Core, Angular, and microservices architecture
• Develop and migrate complex applications using Azure services like App Services, Kubernetes, Azure SQL Database, and Integration Services
• Implement robust security measures and configuration management using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Terraform, and ARM Templates
• Collaborate with architects and senior developers to align cloud infrastructure with the client's business objectives and technological requirements
• Require hands-on experience in both cloud and on-premises environments, with expertise in hybrid connectivity and Azure native application development

Required Skills:

• 10 years of experience with ASP.NET, MVC, C#,WEB API
• 7 years of experience with Angular
• 7 years of experience with .NET Core
• 7 years of experience with Microservices architecture, Azure architecture, Domain driven architecture
• 7 years of experience with Docker and azure cloud services such as AKS, Azure functions, Azure Container Service, Azure App services, Azure API Management
• 7 years of experience with Azure cloud databases
• 5 years of experience with Azure Monitoring, Application Inisghts
• 3 years of experience with configuration management and automation technologies such as Azure Devops, PowerShell, Terraform, Chef, and ARM Templates

Preferred Skills:

• 3 years of experience as an Azure certified developer
• 3 years of experience with Infrastructure As Code
• 2 years of strong scripting skills in Python
• Strong knowledge of implementing hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-premise systems using virtual networks, 2 years of experience working with Azure Data factory, Azure Data Lake.
• 2 years of experience developing power BI reports
