Position Overview
The Content Editor assigns, edits, and guides a staff of in-house and freelance writers in producing high-quality, authoritative content that addresses an audience of sales and IT professionals in businesses of all sizes. You will be involved in close reading and content editing on topics such as sales and IT software, including VoIP, POS & Payment Systems, CRM, and related best business practices. Reporting to the Managing Editor, you will work closely with writers and topic leaders to own the quality and publishing pace of the TechnologyAdvice.com site.

Employment Type: Full Time
Working Hours: 9:00 pm to 6:00 am PHT (APR-OCT) or 10:00 pm to 7:00 am PHT (NOV-MAR)
What you'll do
- Receive, review, and edit story drafts, ensuring the story meets the requirements outlined in the brief
- Manage writer assignments, including deadlines, and if needed assign articles to freelancers
- Schedule, assign, and track progress on assignments to ensure they are completed on time, in line with site and company priorities
- Act as final reviewer/approver of stories before handing them off for final publication
- Assist Content Operations and WordPress Upload Teams with any technological resources needed to publish quality content on schedule
- Assist with photo and photo credit sourcing, as needed
- Keep our project management platform up to date on story status and progress toward site goals
- Set up clear weekly estimates and feedback loops with the Writing team so we can have clear estimates and ROI on production
- Coach freelancers in a collaborative environment
Who you are
- 5-7 years of experience in content editing, preferably in the software or SaaS sectors
- Writing, editing, and content management experience with an online publishing outlet are required
- Collaborative and enjoy working with multiple team members
- Basic understanding of SEO, and a working knowledge of editing stories in the WordPress CMS GUI
- Self-motivated and able to manage your time to meet deadlines
- Open to feedback and strive to learn something new every day
- Passionate about delivering the best answers to people’s questions
- Must have a working laptop/pc and internet and back-up connection
- Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
- Experience editing multiple topics is a major plus
- Experience in sales software, VoIP, business intelligence, POS or field service management is preferred

Work Authorization
Employer work visa sponsorship and support are not provided for this role. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the Philippines at hire and must maintain authorization to work in the Philippines throughout their employment with our company.
Salary Range
TechnologyAdvice seeks to hire top-tier individuals across the world and intends for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.
Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.
Monthly Pay Range
₱78,000—₱100,000 PHP
